This is the first picture book about the dance and musical instruments of the local Kelabit traditional culture drawn by a West Malaysian after her experience in the fields of Bario, East Malaysia. Its aim is to showcase the diverse ethnic cultures of our country and their uniqueness. Amidst the process of global urbanization, the preservation of traditional cultures in local villages often returns to the recognition and adherence of one's own ethnicity. The creator of the picture book, Ammi, hopes to become a recorder, documenting what she has seen and experienced through images. She finds the picture book, with its multiple pages of pictures, to be a fitting medium and has begun conceptualizing and drawing. Based on real local stories, the names of characters have all been changed.
